MG 120
Protective High-Performance Coating
MG 120 is a
two-component, 2:1 ratio, high-gloss, slow-setting, 100%-solids (no
VOC), epoxy-polyurethane hybrid coating for infrastructural
applications of all types.
MG 120, when
properly applied, will provide a pinhole-free, monolithic barrier
that completely protects the parent structure, whether metal or
concrete. The finished product offers excellent resistance to
corrosion, abrasion and cathodic disbondment, combined with good
chemical resistance.
Typical Applications:
• Girth weld pipeline repairs, pipe joint repairs,
valve linings, wastewater treatment applications, ballast and
storage tank linings. |
Application Summary:
MG 120 is a two-component system with a 2:1 mix
ratio by volume. All components should be between 21°C and 32°C
prior to mixing. Mix "A" and "B" components together prior to
brushing or spraying onto structure. A ten mil build is usually
obtainable with one coat – however, should a second coat be
needed it must be applied within the recoat window. This product
may not cure properly in temperatures below 10°C.
