 CorroPipe
"S"
Single-Component Pipeline Coating
CorroPipe "S" is a
single-component-plus-catalyst coating that offers superior
resistance to corrosion, chemicals, abrasion and cathodic
disbondment.
CorroPipe "S" is
a versatile product – designed for use as either an internal lining
or external coating.
Typical Applications:
• Buried pipelines
• Steel, concrete and ductile iron pipe
• Field joint applications, bell and spigot protection and
fittings |
Application Summary:
CorroPipe "S" should be applied in a thin coat
(less than 10 wet mils under normal environmental conditions) to
prevent foaming, sagging and pinholing. Multiple coats may be
required to achieve the required thickness. Caution should be
exercised if the humidity is great than 85%, however, these
conditions can be overcome by heating the substrate to 80-100°F
prior to coating application, or reducing the film thickness per
coat (less than 7 mils).

Alternate Products:
CorroPipe "S" (CM)
is a ceramic-modified version of CorroPipe "S" that offers high
abrasion resistance – ideal for highly abrasive or high-flow
applications.
CorroPipe "S" (AM) is a modified version of CorroPipe "S"
that contains an EPA-registered anti-microbial agent. Although
the standard formulation is not susceptible to bacterial attack,
CorroPipe "S" (AM) provides extended service life in sewer
environments. |
