 CorroCote
"S"
Single-Component Heavy-Duty Coating/Lining
CorroCote "S" is a single-component-plus-catalyst plastic coating
and lining (polyurethane based) for storage tanks of all types, or for the embedded portion of poles and towers.
When properly
applied, CorroCote "S" will provide a pinhole-free, monolithic
barrier which completely protects the structure. It can withstand
winter or summer weather, and can build 13 to 15 dry mils in a
single coat.
Typical Applications:

Sewage treatment
• Paper mills, factory floors
• Oil/water separators and chemical plant maintenance
• Embedded portion of poles and towers |
Application
Summary:
CorroCote "S" should be applied in a thin coat
(less than 10 wet mils under normal environmental conditions) to
prevent foaming, sagging and pinholing. Multiple coats may be
required to achieve the required thickness. Caution should be
exercised if the humidity is great than 85%, however, these
conditions can be overcome by heating the substrate to 80-100°F
prior to coating application, or reducing the film thickness per
coat (less than 7 mils).
