FusionClad® TC
“EASY-PREP”
WATERBORNE INDUSTRIAL PROTECTIVE COATING
FusionClad TC is paint-like to use; it is a single component
water-reducible acrylic topcoat with very little odor, very low VOCs
(volatile organic compounds) and quick curing. Apply by brush,
roller or spray. It cures to a semi-gloss, enamel-like finish.
FusionClad can be used on virtually any substrate. On steel and
other metals, the applicator can avoid the expense of elaborate
surface preparation by conditioning the surface with FerroGrip
Surface Conditioner / Adhesion Promoter and applying FusionClad
Primer before applying FusionClad TC.
The combination of FerroGrip and FusionClad also works well on
concrete, where the use of FerroGrip eliminates the need for acid
etching and abrasive blasting.
NOTE: When the ultimate in toughness, color and gloss retentionare
critical, consider using the sister product, FusionClad TC Ultra,
the latest in water-dispersible polyurethane technology.

Typical Applications:
The FusionClad
system is suitable for protecting virtually any steel
structure targeted for, or currently used in, atmospheric
(i.e., aboveground) exposure. Use in the shop or in the
field for coating steel structures, equipment, sheet metal,
piping, furniture and storage tanks. FusionClad TC is also
ideal for concrete walls and floors and most other
substrates such as vinyl and other plastics, wood and
drywall. An anti-microbial version is available by special
order.
