FusionClad® Primer
“EASY-PREP”
WATERBORNE INDUSTRIAL STEEL COATING
The FusionClad
family of coatings makes it possible to achieve industrial-grade
protection for steel and other metals
without the necessity of blasting or other elaborate surface
preparation. It is a paint-like and water dispersible product with
handling characteristics similar to latex paint. While traditional
preparation methods such as abrasive blasting will give superior
results compared to other coating systems, preparing the surface
with Madison FerroGrip Surface Conditioner / Adhesion Promoter will
give optimum results at a fraction of the cost of blasting. Simply
spray the surface with FerroGrip, let it work for at least 10
minutes, power wash off the residue, let surface dry and apply
FusionClad Primer. (Click here to view

As the last step, the applicator applies his choice of two
available topcoats, FusionClad TC and FusionClad TC Ultra.
The FerroGrip/FerroClad combination also works extremely well on
other substrates such as concrete. Try a test area on any substrate
wherever you want to minimize surface preparation and maximize
performance.

Typical Applications:
For use in the shop or in the field for coating steel structures,
equipment, sheet metal, piping, furniture and storage tanks.
Also ideal for concrete walls and floors and most other
substrates such as vinyl and other plastics, wood and drywall.
An anti-microbial version of this product
is available by special order. |
