Approved Applicator Programs
Often imitated but never equaled, Madison’s Approved Applicator training programs have been leading the industry for 30 years. Our documentation is comprehensive and robust. Our trainers are full time technical service specialists. Our follow-up support is second to none.
In this section of the Madison website, you will see a wealth of support materials and information describing the many benefits Madison Approved Applicators enjoy. When you work with us on specific projects, we can provide even more in terms of specialized support and training materials.
Our Approved Applicator Programs fall into two categories:
Level One Applicators receive a one-day initial training session focusing on our Mix-and-Apply and PreCatalyzed products; refresher training is conducted annually.
Level Two Applicators are certified as being trained on our plural component products and the equipment used to apply them. They receive three days of initial training. Topics covered include introduction to plural component chemistry, surface preparation, coating application, quality control, documentation, safety, maintenance and troubleshooting, as well as several other topics. Level Two Applicators receive a one-day refresher training session annually.
With both Level One and Level Two, the curriculum of the initial training is relatively fixed, whereas the refresher training is customized. The training certificate is issued in the name of the individuals trained and is valid only as long as they continue working for the same company. If they change employers, they need to be re-certified with the new employer. If the company hires new or additional people, Madison will gladly arrange for training of the new personnel.
