Third-Party Test Results of Madison Infrastructural Coatings

Madison periodically utilizes the services of well regarded third party laboratories, including Underwriter’s Laboratory (UL), ITI Anti-Corrosion, National Sanitation Foundation (NSF), Exova (formerly Bodycote), and KTA Tator, to name a few.

The scope of their testing includes specialized procedures, compliance with industry or government standards and benchmarking against competitive products. As a recent example, an analysis of several of our coatings was conducted utilizing a particularly extensive ISO corrosion specification by one of these laboratories. Not only was their specialized equipment needed, but the industry standard practice required an independent performance assessment. Approvals of Madison Infrastructural Coatings

Many of Madison's products have approvals from a variety of industry associations and government agencies, including the following:

Underwriters Laboratories: UL 1746 (part I, II and IV) : External Corrosion Protection Systems for Steel Underground Storage Tanks and UL 2215 : Oil/Water separators.

Steel Tank Institute: STI-P3, ACT-100, ACT-100U : Standards for underground corrosion protection systems for steel storage tanks.

NSF International: ANSI/NSF Standard 61 : Drinking water system components - health effects.

US Food & Drug Administration: 21 CFR177.1680 : Regulations on polyurethane resins in contact with large quantities of dry foodstuffs.

American Water Works Association: C222 - 08 : Polyurethane Coating for the Interior & Exterior of Steel Water Pipe & Fittings.
