CorroPipe
Pipeline Coatings and Linings
For over 30 years, Madison has been supplying coatings and linings for pipes of varying kinds in almost every conceivable type of service. Over the years, Madison coatings have been used on the interior and exterior of steel, concrete and ductile iron pipe used to gather, transport and distribute potable water, wastewater, industrial effluent, oil, gas, mine tailings, sea water, and slurries. CorroPipe products are equally at home in high throughput O.E.M. applications or in the field rejuvenating existing pipelines.
Madison is widely recognized as the pioneer in the development of polyurethane technology for pipe-related applications:
The innovations continue today. In 2008, we introduced CorroPipe PW Ultra, a next-generation potable water lining that delivers undreamed-of adhesion values, even after years of immersion. Water absorption and permeability values are the best in the industry. And CorroPipe PW Ultra comes in a familiar 1:1 format, thus minimizing the spray technician’s learning curve. Also in 2008, we launched CorroPipe 3000, a next-generation product that provides design life capabilities up to 100 years.
We offer unique additives for special conditions. Our MicroSpear Anti-Microbial additive works in wastewater applications to minimize MIC (Microbially Induced Corrosion); and, in potable water applications, MicroSpear kills virtually all bacteria on contact from e-coli to Thiobacillus. Our NanoShield additive, containing microscopic ceramic nano-spheres, increases abrasion resistance and impact resistance by 25% or more; depending on the product to which it is added, in fact NanoShield increases abrasion resistance in some products by more than 100%.
Our range of products is unmatched. We have every conceivable format: fast set Plural Component, paint-like Mix-and-Apply and handy PreCatalyzed. And we can offer tailored solutions for just about any pipeline application.
