This polymer coating is specifically formulated for building exteriors and other high visibility structures. It incorporates automotive and marine grade resins into a paint-like format. When applied by brush, roller or spray, GemThane OverCote cures to a tough, resilient barrier coat protecting the surface from the elements for many years. The product contains Madison’s Nanoshield™ ceramic reinforcement for extra protection from impact and abrasion. It also contains Madison’s AP-50 Adhesion Promoter which makes it suitable for use over surfaces prepared with GemBond Surface Conditioner, an easy-to-use foam that eliminates the need for laborious surface preparation.

GemThane OverCote can be applied over vinyl, wood, steel, galvanized metal, plywood, composite materials, brick and stucco. Please contact GemThane for specific substrate application instructions. The product will withstand immersion service and thus can be used on horizontal surfaces as well. The finish has a semi-gloss appearance.
